Elwood kitchen splashbacks – A arena tiling was hired for a kitchen splashback renovation in Elwood. The client purchased 75 x 150 white tiles , which has a grooved perimeter edged like a border. It was a beautiful looking tile.
We agreed to lay the small tiles in a brick pattern, which is a subway tile format.
Starting with a full and a half and wrapped the tiles all around, keeping all the lines consistent and flowing.
The Grout we ended up using was gun metal grey grout, which is nearly the darkest grey aside from charcoal this gave the splashback a high contrast, the ultimate affect in colour stand out.
As you can see from the photos below, the end result is a master piece . The client was stunned and very happy!

The tiled splashback surpassed the client’s expectation, nicely tying together all elements of the kitchen. Now completed, the kitchen looked superb, and welcoming.
The light colour of the tile, backed by the dark grout really highlights the tiled pattern. This emphasises the importance for a straight and true tile lay, this is where utilising an experienced Tiler matters.
