Timber tiles don’t scratch , don’t mark and is easier then real timber to maintain . There no need to re sand and stain .

Yes they are tiles but id laid correctly and hidden with a matching grout then it can look exactly like timber to give you a longer lasting product .

On this project . We were booked in to tile the whole ground floor around 70 m2 .

We had a meeting with the client and decided to lay them scattered as you can see in pictures .

Its important to choose a quality supplier when purchasing your timber tiles . All long tiles are slightly bowed but you would want it to be minimum .

When laying timber tiles , it’s important to use the correct trowel.

Because the tiles are Long you can’t avoid a bow . But with a 12 mm trowel and with professionalism and experience you can manage the bows via flex in the tiles itself .

 

The correct spacer for laying timber tiles is critical . If you observe real timber the gaps are minimum . So A Arena Tiling reccomends laying in a 2 mm spacer and introducing more expansion joints for movement allowance .
